Fire, purifying and transforming, is the heart of the Bealtaine celebration. First, the Grove kindles its sacred hearthfire, made with nine magical woods, on the outside Land for the first time this year. Then, at the fire of sacrifice, we will honour the Tuatha De Danann and their coming to Ireland, with their treasures and magic. Finally, we pass between these two fires gaining the blessings of the season, and of all directions.
